This area is also close to Backyards surf break which is great intermediate or advanced kite surfers. The North Shore is considered to be country and people enjoy the laid back lifestyle. Sunset is one of the neighborhoods that actually has a supermarket. There is also a lengthy bike bath to take along the road back to Haleiwa. Haleiwa is the main town on the North Shore which has much more shopping and restaurants.
